Join the Park Naturalist for “The Sweetest Trees: A Sweetest Day Celebration in the Forest,” on Saturday, October 21, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Columbus County Park. Enjoy a fall color walking tour admiring the trees of Columbus County Park in the peak of leaf-peeping season. Learn the basics of tree identification and share your take on why forests make us feel good. Join our Sap Rap! Chat with us about our community maple sugaring project, and sample sweet maple treats as we walk and talk. This free program is supported by Friends of the St. Clair River and all are welcome.
